- This is the heat shrink tubing we use on all of our in-house rigging. Heavy thick wall and adhesive lined creates the best rigging in all cases.
Rigging cable or single strand wire to hooks or swivels etc. this tubing will make a stiff connection, no need for electrical tape. Obviously heat shrink tubing should never be used when rigging mono.
Whenever possible use the transparent tubing, this will let you keep an eye on the crimp connection.
The Pink and Blue .25" is perfect for single strand wire rigging and small ring eye hooks. The Yellow .36" is for the larger hooks and the Black .50" is for the large ring eye hook. TIP: When rigging larger ring eye hooks, you might have to wipe a little WD-40 on the eye to help push the tubing into position.
Each size is sold in a 5pack, and all are 6" in length.
