After testing electric reels, we have chosen the Banax 1000. This reel is powerful and proved to show no problem pulling the dredges. When combined with 3 specific Tournament Cable Dredge Teaser the results were impressive. When deploying and retrieving the dredges, the Banax 1000 spooled with 500lb braid performed flawlessly. With a Drag Force of 20kgs (44lbs) this reel presented all the power required to hold the dredge in position and easily retrieve it when needed to.
This set-up does not have the pulling capacity for some of the larger dredges pulled on the bigger boats, but we developed three high quality specific dredge teasers that each work extremely well with no problems.
