CLEAT KIT w/#24 Planer, 50ft 890lb Dyneema, clips and bands

These kits are designed to have the planer pulled from a stern cleat instead of a planer rod set-up. The Dyneema tow line loop end is attached to a stern cleat and the heavy snap swivel at the other end is attached to the planer.

Baits and lures are let out on a separate rod and then the line is attached to the Dyneema line using the rubber bands and snaps included. The snap will easily slide down the entire length of Dyneema positioning your bait at the depth of the planer. On a strike the rubber band will break and the line will be released… very simple but quite effective.

The 890lb test Dyneema is smaller in diameter than 400lb mono and the clips will slide down the line with ease. Extremely long lasting and durable, the hand splices make the entire line much easier to handle. Dyneema will not coil like mono and therefore is much easier to stow.
