Fluoro-Carbon Wind-On leaders are the ultimate choice in leader materials and, therefore, demand a premium. This leader material is less visible when in the water and has a sink ratio that is two times greater than standard monofilament. Fluoro-carbon has a harder surface finish which is more resistant to abrasion than monofilament.

Some anglers use flouro-carbon for all their leaders connected to their baits and lures. Coupled with a flouro-carbon wind-on leader this is the ultimate set-up. Flouro-carbon wind-ons are also perfect when tied directly to the hook for tuna chunking.
